That's my foot in a pile of mauve/lavender roving. There's so much! I sat at my table wondering how to work it. Pulling it apart with fingers was getting tedious. It had to be done over the garbage bin because bits of dirt and straw were loosening.
It occurred to me that the wool needed to be carded. I have no idea how to work with what I've got here. I thought of the wire brush for our cats. The pile of fluff behind the brush and wool blob shows how cloud-like it becomes. I also think of my friend Sarah when she says she looks like a Q-tip after brushing her curly locks. She said it -- not me!
What will become of these circles, I don't know. Stay tuned.
